Non-asymptotic bounds of point-to-point communication with or without perfect feedback using alpha-information theory
Résumé
Some results of alpha-information theory are pre- sented in order to derive simple non-asymptotic lower bounds on the probability of error for any binary block code used on symmetric channels with or without feedback. In particular, we obtain lower bounds on the signal-to-noise ratio for given code parameters and probability of error.
